Diggity.

Submitted without comment, just thought this was interesting. You know, from a scientific and sociological perspective...

One in 25 men might be raising another man's child

Hmmm............interesting............





This is actually supported by an argument used by those who oppose the "men are biologically/evolutionarily more likely than women to be promiscuous" argument. The idea is that back when we were monkey-people, infanticide and/or distribution of resources were issues faced by females raising babies. The idea is that females would have sex with many men, thereby making paternity a mystery, so the males would help support or at least not kill off their kids.
